Cost: Youth $8.00 Adult $4.00 This includes program sessions, craft, camp fee, facility use, snack and event crest. Theme is "Medevil Mayhem". Chair is Jo-Ann Hill-Atkinson. There will be dragons, and damsels and all sorts of things you would expect to see in medieval times, but this is where the difference is. There will be three lands for you to visit - Europe, Britain and Scandinavia/ Denmark (where all the Vikings hail from!!), and each land will have a number of activities to participate in (five in each). We warn you now, it is unlikely that you will be able to do it all! But that is the fun - your youth can pick and choose what they would like to do (with leaders' guidance of course!) So instead of being sent to the next activity, you will be sent to the next land to participate in the activities they have to offer! Some of these include dragon slaying, longboat races, and that good old Viking favourite past-time, Hogstanding, just to name a few!
