In May 2007 Brant Area put together an area function along with Grand River Conservation Authority and Ministry of Natural Resources to plant trees and nuts on Sun May 5, 2007. For those groups participating they could use it as a fundraiser if they wished. Some groups did this on thier own as well. A very sucessfull event.
